you’ll need:

• 2 feet of pom pom trim
• 2 feet of chain
• 40-60 jump rings
• 4 feet of nylon cord
• 2 needle nose pliers

​

start by attaching the chain to the outer edge of the pom pom trim with the jump rings. If you are using cable chain, connect a jump ring through every other link. If you are using cable chain, connect a jump ring though each link.​

​

once the entire length of the chain is attached to the pom pom trim, thread the cord through each jump ring.​

​

pick up each end of the cord and the chain will naturally fall on top of the pom pom trim. Center the pom pom and chain portion. You’ll need to attach this portion to the cord to prevent it from sliding. Add another jump ring to the first link of the chain and pierce it through the cord. Do the same with the last link.​

​

your new pom pom necklace is finished!!​

experiment by adding more chain, attaching different sized jump rings or using a variety of colored cord! Have fun!​

- a pair of closed-acorn push nuts

Start by cutting about 1/3 of the cork off, lengthwise. Drill two holes at an angle on the top side of the cork, exiting out the same centered hole on the opposite side. Run the drill through the holes a few times in order to clean out any excess cork. Thread each end of the leather cord through the top of the cork, pulling the ends out the bottom. Thread both ends of the cord through the open acorn nut, using a safety pin to help thread it through. Push the acorn nut flush against the bottom of the cork. Cap the tips of the cord by filling the insides of each of the closed nuts with super glue and twisting the tips into them. Decorate the bolo by sticking an earring or brooch into the center of the cork.​

It’s that easy – adjustable & interchangeable!​

id Collar Necklace, we were immediately overcome with a wave of nostalgia. Our memories of a neon, plastic box braid lanyard was suddenly transformed into a sophisticated leather jewelry component. Honestly, brilliant! Inspired by our fondness of Lim’s necklace and our love of utilizing hardware, we made our own interpretation of a box braid necklace. And in case you forgot how to make your favorite childhood summertime craft, take a trip down memory lane with us!

​

You’ll need:
- 12 yards of micro-fiber faux suede (we highly recommend using micro-fiber suede because it’s super soft, flexible and easy to work with)
- 4 rubber bands
- an assortment of small, medium and large washers.

​

​

Start by cutting the suede in 4 three-yard pieces. Tie them together in a knot, leaving about 15 inches of slack which will serve as ties for the necklace. Because the strands are so long, tying them into bundles using rubber bands makes them more manageable and prevents tangling. Starting at the knot, spread the strands to form a cross. Fold the first vertical strand to the opposite side, creating a loop. Fold the opposing vertical strand to the opposite side, creating another loop. Hold the parallel loops in place with one hand. With the other hand, weave a horizontal strand over the closest loop and under the next loop. Do the exact opposite with the last horizontal strand. Pull the four strands tightly. Repeat the box braid until you are ready to add washers to the necklace. We started braiding in the smallest washer after the first 3 inches. Undo one of the bundles. Thread on a washer and let it fall to the base of box braid. Continue with the box braid weave and tighten, securing the washer. Keep the bundle unwrapped as it will be the only strand to which you’ll add washers. And to keep the washers on one side of the box braid, add washers to every other weave. Gradually add larger washers for a graduated effect.​

​

Once the necklace is finished, trim the ends. You can either finish the necklace with another knot like the first knot or undo the first knot – whichever you prefer. The necklace is adjustable in length and can be secured by a knot or a bow.​

​

Wear it as a necklace, wrap bracelet or even a headband!​

• a belt
• 4 lion drawer pulls
• 4 #8-32 x 3/8″ flat head screws
• a hole punch or leather punch
• a screwdriver
• a ruler & pen

Start by placing the drawer pulls along the backside of the belt and place them to your liking. Mark the placements with 4 evenly spaced cross sections with a pen and ruler. With the hole punch, carefully punch out the holes.​

​

Push the screws through the holes and twist on the drawer pulls, tightening each one with a screwdriver.​

​

Your Moschino-inspired belt is finito!​

​

Roarrrrr!​

- a heavy duty wire cutter
- a drill
- a pointed drill bit
​

You’ll start by drilling a hole at the top of the plastic box. Use a drill bit that is one size larger than the diameter of the bolt on the knob, otherwise the plastic might crack. Open the lid and slowly drill a hole in the center of the box with very light pressure. Please wear protective eyewear and use caution! You can practice by drilling a few holes into the cover of a plastic CD case. Once the hole is drilled, use wire cutters to trim about an inch off the bolt. You’ll notice that your knob comes with two sets of nuts and washers. Remove one set with your wrench or pliers. (Click images to enlarge)​

Push the knob through the hole of the box and replace the washer and nut. Tighten.​

​

Voila! You’ve just made a glassy, transparent clutch – it was that easy!​

​

• 2 scalloped edged collar pieces cut from white felt or rubber flannel (pattern downloadable here)
• a single hole punch or leather rotary hole punch
• 1 yard of white ribbon
• a needle and thread
• hot glue gun
• button

​

Overlap the two wider end pieces and push a button through the last two aligning holes. Sew the button in place from the backside.

​

Cut the ribbon into two half-yard lengths. Thread the ribbon through the last hole on the tapered end, place a drop of glue at the tip, and fold it closed.

​

Wrap the collar around your neck and tie it into a bow.

​

Your Louis Vuitton inspired peter pan collar is finished!
