nice to meet u too =)

I actually agree with all of your 3 ways how to develop & improve our language & mostly with the 3rd point
By reading magazines and stories it realy helped me improving my english alot and also by writing once or twice a week essays in school.

Soo interisting experience....:tek:

you are lucky to have a scholrship in North America..

can i know how old are you...and what are doing now?
:). .

Thanks , but trust me I'm not lucky at all to get that damn scholarship. It turned my world around , I'm sweet 19 , and as for what I do right now , it's hard to answer , It all depends on the ministry of higher education which they seem not to know their job :0bee2e8d89:

How can i see programm in enlish and i dont know what they say ??

which english book they are useful for reading and improve our english skills ??

i want some sites its useful ??

،

حبيبتي روح المشاعر

i am very glad to answer your questions my dear

First, you don't have to understand all what is said in the program. you are training your ears to listen to English and gradually you will understand every thing. Fortunately, the programs have subtitle such as Oprah's show so you can listen and read the meaning in Arabic at the same time.

As for your second questions, it depends on your English. If your English is excellent you can start reading novels and self-development books. However, if your English is moderate you should start reading simpler books or short stories. It really depends on your level of education . You cand read allot on the
net too, especially in the famous encyclopedia Wikipedia.

As for the websites:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/arabic/arabic_elt/index.shtml

http://www.bbc.co.uk/learning/subjects/english.shtml

http://www.go4english.com/

If i found any more websites i will tell you about them.

Am ready to answer any other questions

Good luck :)

i find your words extreamly kind sweety

as for me when i was a young girl, i watched channel 2 alot, plus i used to watch every disney cartoon there was, our maids spoke english and i used to talk to them in gibberish, my father used to correct me all the time, by the time i was 10 i enrolled in an english school and i spent 4 years there, at high school my major was english, but my english was much more advanced that their curriculum, so i feel like i didnt learn much from my major, i used to correct my teachers alot, especially about their accents, which we used to call at my englsih school "arabic english", anyway, i got straight "a's" so my natural thoughts for college were english lit, why i studied law instead is still beyond me, but it all worked out for the best, plus, when i was a teenager, i used to listen to english songs and read english magazines like "smash hits" "big" "tv hits" i still read english magazines but i shifted to "cosmopolitan" in-style" i dont read as much as i do, probably because i dont have much time

im sorry if i have spelling mistakes, thats my biggest problem in english still

Hi , I'd be glad to help you improve your English , you have made a grammar mistake in your statement

I was watched , means you were being watched by someone , in other words , someone was watching you. this form of grammar called passive voice

The right sentence that you should have typed is , I was watching it or I watched it

but " I was watched " is a totally big mistake that could cause a confusion to the listener

AHaaa

thaaaaaaaaaaaanks a lot
