I received a brochure about the relatively new shipping company in Kuwait named Posta plus, it’s similar to Aramex, they get you an address in U.S and the UK so customer can order from online shopping stores such as Amazon, ebay, Apple… etc. and they will deliver order to his doorstep.
I called them the other day and asked about their pricing, they said for the new My Box service the cost is KD7 , and the shipping time is 6 to 10 days maximum to deliver from their address in the U.S. I’m considering to make an order for a customized laptop from Alienware but I wanted to know if anyone tried them before? Are they handy? Good customer support?

سويت سيرج بس هذا اللي لقيته

I don’t know why no one mentioned there was a third provider for fright forwarding in Kuwait that also happens to be cheaper than everyone else (first pound is KD 2.5, every other pound is KD 2). I just found out about them and will sending a few shipments their way to test. I’ve contacted them to get more details, below are answers to the questions I’ve asked.[Website]

• We are charging by actual weight of the shipments for My Box service unless the size was very odd (big) and can’t be accepted in regular flights (this is very rare and only for very big sizes).
• Shipping fees: KD 2.5 for the 1st half kilograms, any additional half kilograms will be charged KD 2, clearance fees: KD 1, subscription fees: KD 7 one life time, this exclude any custom duty or governmental taxes.
• Average transit time for shipments is 7-9 working days for shipments to be delivered to your door. (this including the custom clearance period)
• Shipments normally stays as an average 2 days at customs to be cleared.

Shipping with Posta Plus

A few months ago, I subscribed with Posta Plus since a friend of mine recommend it due to personal experience.
Anyway, I shipped a couple of things since my membership, the first thing is the “Active Display port to VGA” which I needed desperately for my eyefinity setup. It costed exactly 4.5KD to ship including customs!
Weight: 2.5KD for the first 0.5KG and 2KD for the next 0.5KG.
I also shipped two hardcover books, they came in pristine condition! And costed 7.5KD with customs, since they weigh 1.5KG.
It took them 10 days for the first, 7 for the next. Overall? They are great!

في ناس يقولون ارخص وسريع مو مثل ارامكس اانا سويت فورما دقيت عليهم وعطيتهم ايميلي ودزولي فورما حطيت فيها معلومات ودزيته لهم ودقوا علي علشان يطرشولي المندوب ياخذ اشتراك بي 7 دنانير وصورة من بطاه مدنية ويسوولي صندوق في امريكا وبريطانيا
