am gonna tell u,
1st i was in private English school in the primary school, then i went to govermental school, but i used 2 go 2 english lessons through clubs, Amideast(American council)
then in university my language study was english, but english needs practising the more u practise the better fluent language u will have .

when i was a little girl i used to watch cartoon network alot and that improved my vocabulary
i joined many english summer courses
i took a summer language course in england
watched tv alot
all my studies are in english
finally i went to france and practiced my english daily
while i was there i discovered that i love reading english books
and untill today i read every day

just wanna share my experience with you

for 17 years I thought I was perfect in english, I was in government school yet, I could watch a movie without the caption on at age of 12. I was the best student ever in every English class I attended but you know what? It doesnt prove anything , because what you learn from a movie is just a basic low registered English . It doesn't help you to formally communicate with people , companies and institutions. I went under a scholarship program to one of the universities in North America and guess what ? I was shocked and overwhelmed with what its called " academic english" It is totally DIFFERENT than my English which they call street daily english. I started to learn the academic English accordingly and since then , my English is getting better and improving dramatically.

I will tell you even more the next day

Hi , I'd be glad to help you improve your English , you have made a grammar mistake in your statement

I was watched , means you were being watched by someone , in other words , someone was watching you. this form of grammar called passive voice

The right sentence that you should have typed is , I was watching it or I watched it

but " I was watched " is a totally big mistake that could cause a confusion to the listener

Hello everybody

nice to meet you all

i think this is a very good idea because in order to improve your english language you MUST practice it in THREE ways:

First, you should improve your listening skills. For me i do that by listening to English speaking programs such as the ones on channel 4 as well as movies and series. Belive me, tgis really works and you will gain new vocabulary all the time.

Second, you should improve your speaking skills by actually using the language verbally. I find a problem in this regard because i don't have any body with whom i can speak the language

Third, you should improve your reading/writing language. it simply means you should write and read. there are lts of interesting books , novels and magasines to read and you can write here

That's what i have to say about developing your English
