The news has been spread on Saturday 6th March 2010 by MBC that broadcasts her show “Joelle”, providing many pictures of the event. Joelle and Kamal look was really glamorous but, basically, very simple, as she is a very talented look consultant: she wore a bridal white dress designed by Lebanese stylist Walid Atallah and a very simple make-up. No elaborate hairdo for the bride but a simple brushing, that made her look very fresh.
The couple met in Beirut and, at that time, Kamal did not absolutely know anything about Joelle (he did not follow her programme and even did not know about it). They have been engaged for a long time and Joelle kept wearing a necklace with a charm representing the letter “K”, Kamal’s first letter name, without never taking it off. Everyone was wondering what did this letter mean and the secret has been revealed by MBC. Joelle wore this necklace even for her wedding, showing her great love and devotion.
Joelle affirmed that they started to prepare the wedding only three months before, without a great psychological pressure since they looked optimistic towards their Big Day.
After a romantic honeymoon in the Seychelles, the newlywed will keep living in Dubai, where they both work. The celebrity make-up artist said that she is really in love with Dubai because she feels that it is really a cosmopolitan, luxury metropolis where she feels good. According to the couple, this marriage will be not an obstacle to Joelle’s job, since her husband is now her first fan and supports her vey much.
Joelle Mardinian studied make-up in London and she became very famous some years ago when MBC selected her to present stylish programs about beauty and image. At the moment, she owns a beauty institute in Jumeirah (Dubai) called “La Maison de Joelle” and she hosts the second season of the programme “Joelle” which airs every Saturday at 07.15 pm GMT and every Monday at 10.00 am GMT (rerun). Lastly, due the high request in the Arabic region, Joelle will be opening a new beauty institute in Abu Dhabi, at the end of summer 2010.
