Arty YSL


My heart just about jumped out of my chest when I saw this collection of Arty Rings by Yves Saint Laurent. I finally let my heart lead me right to the 'add to cart' button and then right on over to the 'purchase' button...it was like I had no choice! Anyways, I cannot wait till it arrives. The hardest part was choosing which one and in which color to 'add to cart'. Whoever designed this spectacular little line of rings - you are my hero. They are magnificent! Enough of my blabbering, take a look for yourselves!

Bugged Out Jewelry

What is your thought on bug jewelry? I'm not a fan of the living creatures themselves, but somehow encased in silver, gold or resin...they seem highly intriguing. Makes me think of those weird lollipops with Scorpions inside as kids -- don't think I was ever brave enough to try one though.
​

Some of these are way extreme, but cool to look at nonetheless.



The butterfly necklaces above are from an old Alexis Bittar collection, but I love them and am sad I missed that boat.

Jewels

For those of you that don't know me, I have a slight obsession with jewelry. Always have. When I was younger I used to play dress up in my mom and grandmother's jewelry and have been collecting it for as long as I can remember. One of these days I'm going to have my own line...it's gonna happen. But until then, I get my kicks admiring other peoples designs, like Kara Ross' Lizard jewelry. All of her designs are architectural and have simple clean lines. I am obsessed with the blue lizard hexagon earrings...better put it on my ever growing wish list!
