This home is located in a small village Munavali, close to Alibaug; which is said to be a favorite getaway for affluent Bombay citizens as a place to build their dream country home. This home has Affluence. Written. All. Over. It! A project by Spasm Design Architects, it showcases a magnificent red brick and is enveloped by luscious greenery and bathed in an enviable amount of natural light

A Fun and Colourful Home in Sintra/Portugal.
I love when a home reflects its owners personality and when it’s not “decorated” to comply with trends or certain design rules. This home showcases a mix of bright colours, clashing patterns, and a love for textiles. According to the lady of the house:
Home decorating is in the details. It’s more than having a place to eat and sleep – it’s about the little things. Rugs, curtains and cushions. It’s not about the sofa, but what you put on the sofa to make it comfortable and cosy. I am always looking for nice fabrics, ribbons – anything that has a story or a pattern that I like. Life is rich when your home is a treasure trove. AND. I Couldn’t. Agree. More.

A Soft Caress..
For the purpose of this post I shall define Caress to be when one lightly runs his/her hand up and down an item in a home because it’s irresistible in its appearance.
My reaction to the décor of a home is probably not a typical one. I am quite visual so I if an item appeals to me, the urge to touch/feel it is usually quite overwhelming. Well, this renovated triplex in Barcelona has me twitching; you see I can only look and not touch or rather caress softly(yea, definitely not a typical reaction) the irresistible pieces that are sprinkled throughout.
An item can be made irresistible because of its texture, design, colour etc. For example, I can bet everyone who visits wants to caress that elephant’s husk because it’s irresistible and also a statement piece. I know something being irresistible can be relative from one person to the next, HOWEVER
,

Located in Sewall’s Point, Florida, this beautiful and absolutely fabulous modern home is more like an estate since it boasts square footage up to 12, 300. Humongous, right? The interior features enviable classical pieces and art, Mahogany, Minnesota Limestone, and plaster finishes. You may need to don a pair of shades to view this home tour, but I love it! I love how the spaces are saturated in colour and unabashedly so too. Maybe Santa will give me a closet with all of these contents for Christmas
