moreover, knowing you is a good fortune
i'm having nice time with you
you remind me of myself when i was eager to study english
however, your level is better than mine.
all what you need is little practise and focus on grammar and spelling
i don't doubt your ability to overcome the difficulties in a short time

and i wish sky123 can join us in the coming topics when she is free and correct us if needed
that's will be a big help for us all

I grew up in the USA. I didn't know how to speak arabic but than I moved here and I started learning and I am very good in speaking arabic now. BUT I suck in writing and grammer.
I don't know the arabic grammer like ta2 maksora or lam marfo3a and the other stuff but I know how to write. My handwriting is very ugly LOL.

These are a few mistake you've made. Don't worry, they're just silly mistakes. Hope I HELP.

MYSTIC- spelling mistakes in revolution
( u dont have to proof.) You have to use prove in this sentence not proof..

Turq, i need (a) life swap
in addition lifestyle here is so bothering
You could have said in addition; lifestyle here is so annoying. Using bother in this sentence doesn't really make sense.
A correct sentence would be (SKY bothers me or SKY is bothering me) .
and i was shocked to know that they (HAD) spread a rumour (about me) of doing rhinoplasty...

we hate to do anything obivious in life so people around you won't consider you as a hot topic
An appropriate sentence would be,
(We hate doing OBVIOUS things in life, cuz people around us would consider us as a hot topic. )

if i tell you how i became (AN) english teacher

at the first year in high school, i was indifferent and (a) little bit
lazy
A correct sentence :
IN) the first year (OF) high school, I was indifferent and A little bit lazy.
i hated holding books and spending my time studying (what between lines) in between the lines ( if that's what you mean.
i wasn't stupid or (A) low achiever
so i received a tough punishment from (MY) parents .
then i started to study (A) little just to have the marks that would let me pass
To make that sentence more understandable you could have said
Then I started to study more just to achive the passing maximum marks

untill i liked english teacher.. from here i started to study english
Correct sentence:
until I liked the idea of teaching English, since than; I started to study english

i used to write short stories and some sorts of writings that focus on my stream of consciousness and (THAN I GIVE) them to my teacher, she was moroccan.
.the teacher i loved was (kuwaiti) not kuwaitiya
i turned into (A) dictionary surfing addict,
I graduated in 1998 with (A) high percentage
also it pushes me for more creativity
It also not - also it
and (got) imprisoned by simple voc
nothing (WAS) touched (OF) what I studied

all what you need is (A) little practise

and i wish sky123 can join us in the (UP) coming topics when she is free and correct us if needed
that's (THAT) will be a big help for us all

i searched for my exams when i was in university
i found only two
in the university my english was 80% good, except the prepositions
the ( a ) thing is always omitted in my sentences..
i'm trying to be as i used to be when i was in university
here's one of my exams ,the instructor liked my level in english however he criticised me for not discussing the point he asked for

i put everything you wrote in mind
i appreciate your comments

Ok, that's not what you meant, than what did you mean cuz the sentence still looks wrong.
I think you were trying to say that You liked (THE) English teacher. SEE how a sentence wouldn't make any sense if you forget to use (THE) (A) etc..?

You have to be careful with that.

Yes I know 'Kuwaitiya' sounds feminine BUT the correct English word is KUWAITI for female and male but as long as you feel comfortable, than don't worry about it. :)

I'm sorry if I kidda insulted you, but you asked for it. No offence.
If you want me to correct you, just ask me cuz I won't do it if you don't want me to.

I'm glad I helped.

It sucks for us Arabs who live in western countries, cuz when we were in school they never gave us 'Arabic language or ISLAMIC' I knew what a muslim was but not everything about it. We became more westernized , we started celebrating christmas, thanksgiving etc.. (not my parents lol ) just us kids. I was always a Muslim but I didn't know much about islam. We knew very little arabic and we were shy to talk to our parents in Arabic. When we came back here everything changed!! The first time I heard the ATHAN I was scared to death ' I thought it was the end of the world'. I had never heard it before and it was scarey to hear a loud voice in the sky. I was like ' OH MY GOD what is that? I ran to my mom screaming 'the end of the world is here', she explained to me what it was. It was scary but when I stopped and listened for a moment; I thought it was a beautiful voice. Than, I learned how to speak Arabic, I learned about ISLAM and thankGOD I am very close to ALLAH now.!! I LOVE my religion and I learn about it more and more everyday!! Now, I teach my friends and cousins about things they don't know in ISLAM. ISLAM IS THE BEST al7imdiallah.

sky ya 7elwech
now, i'm trying to change my school from primary to intermidiate to ref resh my english , then to high school..
about literature... i used to abhore literature since i was in high school..then i changed my mind when i had introduction to literature, and intruduction to linguistics..
about shakespeare, it depends on who teaches you his plays
abdul alsalam bahbahani was my instructor, he was such a teacher.. however we studies 5 playes and two poems while other sections studied 2 playes only, also he doesn't give you high marks unless you are about to die lol .. i used to have b- although i used to study hard. jamal boresli is an excellent instructor, zahra hussein is the same as bahbahani but worse than him in marks. my mark was 16.5 out of 20 means B (i could sing there can be miracles song by mariah carey) yet she gave me C at the end of the course..uff menha
in linguistics, i recieved the worst marks
the new rules in the collage is : studying 1 or 2 years without a major, then in third year you will choose what you want
and i'd like to advise you not to be a teacher at all .. continue your master and be an instructor in the collage... i hope you read these two topics ... english department supervisors in ministry of education are the human angels of death
